Sports Premium
Primary schools receive a sports premium to fund additional and sustainable improvements to the provision of PE and sport, to encourage the development of healthy, active lifestyles.
Schools cannot use the premium to fund coaches covering planning, preparation and assessment time for teachers, or to meet the costs of delivery the minimum requirements of national curriculum PE, including swimming. These costs come from the school’s main budget.
